Marisa Tornello presents a soundscape of identity in a journey through trauma and healing in the queer and trans community. now that you know yourself focuses on the nature of identity and the inner dialogue. Weaving in and out of improvisation, the performer drowns in depersonalization, an ever-evolving experience of unreality, detachment, and being an outside observer with one’s own being. This multi-media performance explores these themes through projection, green screen bodypainting, movement, and chaos in sound.
