Join UK Grammy-Award winning a capella ensemble The King’s Singers for this virtual concert streamed from the UK. Joined by the Washington National Cathedral Choirs, the ensemble will showcase the winning compositions from their highly anticipated New Music Prize and celebrate the beauty, breadth, and power of sacred music at the 2021 Sacred Choral Music Festival.

The King’s Singers will open and close the presentation with selections of music from across the ages, and among the musical offerings (including a performance of Eric Whitacre’s Sleep) we will hear world premieres of the four winning pieces from The King’s Singers New Music Prize. Winning composers: Eli Hooker Reese, Parker Kitterman, Jeremy Beck, and Geert D’hollander.

The broadcast will take place at 4pm Eastern / 1pm Pacific.

Advance registration required. This event is included in the full festival registrations. Registrants will be sent connection information by email closer to the concert.
