Pacific MusicWorks and Christ Our Hope at the Josephinum present Sanctuary in the City, a new series of free lunchtime concerts at the crossroads of Downtown and Belltown aimed at fostering a spirit of contemplation and respite in the midst of our busy and stressful lives. The opening concert features baroque chamber music for strings and harpsichord by members of the Bach family.
Upcoming concerts include soprano Danielle Sampson and the Pacific MusicWorks House Band performing Christmas music from 18th century Latin America on Wednesday December 6, and baroque violinist Tekla Cunningham playing solo violin works by Bach and Biber on January 3.
