Bring a picnic, stretch out on the lawn, and enjoy a live audio broadcast from SCMS of each of our Summer Festival concerts, provided directly to neighborhood parks. Each evening begins at 7:30pm with live chamber music performed by an outstanding student or pre-professional ensemble, and continues at 8:00pm with KING-FM's live broadcast, direct from Benaroya.

This summer we continue our partnership with four Seattle parks and the communities surrounding them. You can find us in West Seattle, on Capitol Hill, Downtown, and in Columbia City this July.

Every broadcast is preceded by an outstanding live, student ensemble.

This event takes place at Columbia Park. Along busy Rainier Avenue, Columbia Park offers open grass and two magnificent maple trees beside the Columbia Branch of the Seattle Public Library. This park serves as a buffer against the traffic, and provides a great place to pour over newly borrowed books. The park was annexed to the city in 1907.
