SCO’s Spring concert includes a unique commissioned world premiere from classically-trained indie band Astoria Window (Margaret Davis and Jon Shadle), who are composing a collaborative work for their group and orchestra. The concert will open with a sublime, reflective work by Stacy Garrop and then transitions to the gorgeous Lyric for Strings by American icon George Walker (who passed away in 2018). Kurt Weill’s modern masterpiece, the 2nd Symphony, rounds out this fascinating concert.

Pre-concert lecture at 6:45.

Tickets: $20 ($15 seniors, FREE age 18 & under)

[NOTE: this concert was re-scheduled from April 3 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.]
