Seattle Historical Arts for Kids

In 2010, Seattle Historical Arts for Kids released Merry It Is!: Songs & Dances of the 13th-18th Centuries, an acclaimed studio album of singable kid-tested songs and instrumental dances from the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and American Colonial eras. Your family is invited to discover the delights of this repertoire for yourself! Help us celebrate the tenth anniversary of this special collection in a special community concert with a chance to sing along. Join SHAK’s teaching artists, some of our skilled teen instrumentalists, and our current elementary and middle-school students – singing in gorgeous historical costume – for this truly merry event.

This all-ages event lasts about an hour.

Receive a complimentary CD of Merry It Is!: Songs & Dances of the 13th-18th Centuries with admission donation of $15 or more.

Suggested donation: $10-15 per adult or $15-25 per family, online in advance or cash/check at the door. Pay as able.
