Join the Seattle Opera at the Frye Art Museum for community previews! Discover and deepen your personal experience and enjoyment of your next big night at McCaw Hall. Featuring professional singers with piano, the 45-minute presentations take audiences on a journey through the story and music of the upcoming mainstage opera. In Berlioz’s comedy based on Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing, a man-hating woman and woman-hating man are tricked into falling in love with each other; meanwhile, another trick almost ruins a promising relationship.
Free tickets are available on a first come, first served basis, and may be picked up at the desk in the foyer outside the auditorium one hour prior to the start of the program. There is no late seating, so please arrive early. Frye members may reserve free tickets in advance to guarantee seating.
