Bringing rarely performed works to life, hear two uncovered gems by Rebecca Clarke. Known for her lush sonorities, both pieces by Clarke were only made available to the public in the last decade. Featuring works by Domenico Gabrielli, a cello pioneer of the Italian Baroque era, and Einojuhani Rautavaara, a mystical Finnish composer, this program closes with an early Ludwig van Beethoven chamber work inspired by the prodigy Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This performance will feature Seattle Symphony musicians and guests.
