With over 100 of the most talented musicians in the Pacific Northwest, the Seattle Youth Symphony Orchestra brings unparalleled excitement and vitality to professional-level performances of major symphonic masterworks each year. The final concert of our 74th season will feature the epic work of Gustav Mahler, his Symphony No. 6. The 90-minute composition is among Mahler’s most powerful and enchanting works. With an immense orchestra, profoundly expressive solos for every orchestral instrument, and even a giant hammer blow, the Youth Symphony Orchestra’s performance is sure to be filled with energy and excitement.
