Texas Folklife is proud to present the 31st anniversary edition of Accordion Kings & Queens, featuring CJ Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band. Son of the “King of Zydeco” Clifton Chenier, CJ has carried on the legacy of the bayou beats, elements of funk, blues, and ballads sounds heard throughout traditional zydeco. Push back your furniture and turn your living room into your own personal dance hall as you rock out to best accordion music in the country!

Texas Folklife is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and presenting the diverse cultures and living heritage of the Lone Star State. Since 1984, Texas Folklife has honored the cultural traditions passed down within communities across Texas and explored their importance in contemporary society.

All performances and livestreams at Miller Outdoor Theatre are FREE! (Note: This is a virtual performance. No audience will be in attendance.)
