An evening of high energy music featuring Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Jennifer Higdon’s Zaka and a new work by the winner of BNMI’s 8th Annual Commissioning Competition, Paul Novak. Presented by the Boston New Music Initiative’s core ensemble conducted by Tian Hui Ng and with special guest artist, soprano Stephanie Lamprea.

About the Summit: The Boston New Music Initiative is thrilled to announce its inaugural Living Music Summit! The summit is a series of concerts, workshops, industry roundtables, and networking events designed to promote all aspects of BNMI’s central mission of supporting and advancing the careers of its members in the field of new music. Starting with a series of virtual events and culminating with a weekend of events from June 18-20, 2021, the Living Music Summit aims to make a measurable and lasting impact on both the regional and international new music communities.
