An award-winning master of traditional Irish fiddle, Frankie Gavin performs fiery traditional and contemporary Irish jigs and reels on fiddle and flute, with a healthy dose of Irish humor thrown in for the Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. A founding member of legendary Irish band De Danann, he has performed for Presidents and the Pope, been in the Guinness book of World records as fastest fiddler of 2010, and performed with other musical greats such as Yehudi Menuhin.
