About the project

The Live Music Project is a community calendar for classical and contemporary music in Seattle.

Our mission is to connect people with live classical music in a way that strengthens community, celebrates listener agency, and amplifies local arts resources.

The calendar is a hub for more than 800 orchestras, ensembles, and independent musicians in the region. It provides them with a centralized presence, helping get the word out about concerts and making it easier for listeners to discover a wide variety of upcoming performances.

We amplify community music resources by providing a platform for composers, performers, and performing arts organizations to promote and sustain their work, increase their visibility in the community, and tell the story of their craft.

Concerts, masterclasses, recitals, barn shows, instrument petting zoos; professional and community orchestras, choral groups, students, music festivals… find your music here!

The Live Music Project launched in April 2014, and is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
