The chamber trio Frequency – UW faculty members Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir (cello) and Melia Watras (viola), and Pacific Northwest Ballet concertmaster Michael Jinsoo Lim (violin) – turns its lens on Bach in this performance of selections from Bach’s Goldberg Variations, arranged for string trio. Works from each instrument’s solo repertoire demonstrating other composers’ takes on Bach rounds out the program by this dynamic group of top-flight musicians.
