J.S. Bach – Brandenburg Concerto No. 6
Popper – Requiem
Poteat – In Paradisum

Our third cello show will feature the music of J.S. Bach, including his 6th Brandenburg concerto (okay, there are a couple of violas in that), Popper’s Requiem, and a world premiere cello quartet we commissioned, by brilliant young Seattle composer Angelique Poteat titled In Paradisum. Early music specialist and keyboardist Byron Schenkman will join our cellists for this celebration of Bach, and of music related to spiritual matters. Think inspiration.

Cellists: Rajan Krishnaswami, John Michel, Joy Payton-Stevens, Brian Wharton
Violists: Mara Gearman and Timothy Christie
Keyboardist: Byron Schenkman
Bass: Jordan Anderson

Admission: $30 ($25 seniors, $15 age 35 & under)
