The Daphnes feature Seattle's most versatile harpist, Monica Schley (harp and voice), Nate Omdal (bass) and Julie Baldridge (violin) playing original compositions and covers. This unconventional group draws sounds from neo-folkster M. Ward, 90s alternative bands Mazzy Star and Cowboy Junkies, and jazz musicians Pharaoh Sanders and Alice Coltrane.
