We are delighted to be joined for the third time by the incredible violinist Jennifer Koh. She will be playing Mendelssohn’s incomparable Violin Concerto, a perfect intersection of virtuosic talent. The program also features a commissioned piece by Eliezer Elper, Al Naharot Bavel (On The Rivers of Babylon), which explores the composer’s personal connection to this era. We close with Schulhoff’s Symphony No. 2, blending American sounds into the European tradition through instruments like the banjo and saxophone!
