Join The Camino Foundation, Eastern Washington University, and Central Washington University for a one-of-a-kind concert at the Moore Theatre in support of education. An evening of enchantment and community connectivity await: Encanto pairs the ethereal beauty of opera aria, classical piano, and the charm of Mariachi Bolero. Concert proceeds will fund scholarships for first-generation students pursuing college/university education.

Award-winning tenor José Iñiguez and classical pianist Jeremy Neufeld will perform the Encanto Program accompanied by Ballard Civic Orchestra, conducted by Paula Nava Madrigal from Guadalajara, Mexico. The program will also feature soloists Teo Benson of Symphony Tacoma and Eddie Nicholson from Philharmonia Northwest. Mariachi Huenachi, recipient of the Golden Apple Award, directed by award-winning Ramon Rivera, will open the evening. Guiding us through this unique, cultural journey will be emcees Supreme Court justice Steve Gonzales and fashion designer Niveen Keaton.

Highlights from the evening’s diverse program include works by Puccini, Verdi, and Lecuona. Representing the Bolero genre will be music by Javier Solis, Pedro Infante, Alejandro Fernandez, and Jose Alfredo Jimenez.
