The gala Tonkonogui Awards Recital for Excellence in Chamber Music will feature outstanding students ages 10-18 in chamber music of Mozart, Dvorak, Milhaud, Piazzolla, and more. These awards are named for David Tonkonogui (1958-2003), cellist with the Seattle Symphony, beloved teacher, and consummate chamber musician. Presented by Music Northwest, proceeds benefit the Music Northwest financial aid fund for low-income students to attend Chamber Music Camp.
