Enjoy Puget Sound's Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble in a celebration of American folk music that explores the theme of shared humanity.

Works performed will include Ruth Crawford Seeger's Rissolty Rossolty, William Grant Still's "Afro-American" Symphony, Judith Zaimont's City Rain, Adolphus Hailstork's American Guernica, Kevin Day's Hymn for Peace, and more; conducted by Anna Wittstruck and Minna Stelzner '16.

The University of Puget Sound Wind Ensemble consists of musicians who are selected by individual auditions. It performs music of many styles and periods, written and arranged for large and small wind groups. It is a highly acclaimed ensemble with numerous invitations to perform at the Washington state and Northwest Division Music Educators Conference programs.
