Garfield Orchestra Winter Waltz 2023

The Winter Waltz is BACK! Friends of Garfield Orchestra is thrilled to announce the return of the one and only Winter Waltz on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Grand Lobby of Benaroya Hall. Doors open at 7pm, music from 7:30pm – 10:30pm. Join us for an evening of live music, dancing, and celebration of Garfield's amazing music program!

This year's theme of "The Emperor Waltz" is presented by the Friends of Garfield Orchestra and KING FM Radio and will mark our 29th season of holding the Winter Waltz! After a two-year absence, it’s wonderful to be together again and celebrate this amazing tradition. So, dust off those dancing shoes, tuxedos (or "penguin suits"), and your fancy clothes and come join us on the dance floor!

Led by Orchestra Director, Bryan Kolk, all three Garfield Orchestra ensembles along with members of our Symphonic Band will play an array of traditional waltzes in the world renowned Benaroya Hall. KING FM's Dave Beck is the evening's emcee, and dance instructors will be on hand to teach waltz basics and get us all dancing. When you need a break from the dancing, don't forget to bid on our raffle baskets of fun and interesting donated items to raise funds for the GHS orchestra and bands music program. Donations supporting our program are always welcome and appreciated.
