Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto, a captivatingly melodic work, is brought to life by Lisa Batiashvili. Finnish conductor Dalia Stasevska leads the Orchestra in her countryman Sibelius's Symphony No. 2, an expansive depiction of the Scandinavian landscape. Wang Lu's world premiere opens the concert.
