Please join us for a Groupmuse featuring harpist Jacqueline Pollauf at the Megahaus!

Venue is not handicap accessible. COVID vaccination with booster required (honor system).

About the venue: The venue is the Megahaus, a bright yellow farmhouse that is next to and part of Edgewood Community Farm, an urban farm in the heart of Washington, D.C. The Megahaus is actually two row houses that have been combined into one, with two bathrooms available for guests and bands. Usually, we have performers play at the intersection of both houses, which allows a maximum audience capacity of 70 to 80 people, with audience members sitting in both living rooms, sets of stairs, floors in both houses but still able to see the performer clearly.

Afterwards, we usually host an optional firepit and farm tours for audience members and band members; and host a light get-together for audience members who want to stick around. We also usually provide free drinks for audience members, also encourage BYOB, and have a small team of volunteers helping run the show, help the band, etc. This is an adults only event, so leave the little ones and pets at home. We require COVID vaccination and boosters (on the honor system) and encourage, but do not require, masking.

The mission of the Megahaus and Edgewood Community Farm is to build community, introduce neighbors and friends to new music, and promote inclusivity. This is a queer, BIPOC, and immigrant friendly space. Come make new friends and check out amazing music.
