The Bellingham Festival of Music is one of America's premier virtuoso orchestra festivals. Each summer the Festival returns to Bellingham, Washington to perform a repertoire of the finest symphonic music. Members of the orchestra all hold artistically prestigious positions elsewhere, and many of them are principal players in major North American symphony orchestras. The Festival also features world famous guest artists and young rising stars.

About Rachel Charbel

Raised in Bellingham, Washington, Rachel Charbel began studying the violin at the age of seven. As a member of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Rachel holds the Ida Ringling North chair. Past appointments include section positions in the Austin Symphony and Dayton Philharmonic, as well as Associate Concertmaster of the ProMusica Chamber Orchestra. In addition, Rachel has performed with the Detroit, Louisville, and Alabama Symphony Orchestras.
