Fred Gautier
Fred Gautier is a Franco-American dual nationalwho was born in Ohio, raised in France, and spent half his life in Europe and the other half in New York. Fred attended the Geneva Music Conservatory in Switzerland, where he studied with Madile Volken. He won the University of Warwick concerto competition in 2000 and 2022 under the tutelage of Melvyn Cooper. In New York, he studied at Mannes with Michael Oelbaum in the extension division, and was a quarterfinalist in the 2008 piano competition for amateurs in Paris.
