About the Live Music Project

The Live Music Project is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing arts access and arts community.

We believe that a lack of resources should not be a barrier to audience. We believe that access to the arts begins with access to information about the arts.

Our mission is to connect people with the means to access and experience live classical music in a way that strengthens community, celebrates listener agency, and amplifies local arts resources.

At the heart of the Live Music Project is a calendar of classical and contemporary concerts taking place around the world, from student recitals to professional symphony concerts and everything in between.

This community-driven calendar is a hub for thousands of orchestras, ensembles, choirs, music schools, and independent musicians. It provides them with a centralized presence, helping get the word out about concerts and making it easier for listeners to discover a wide variety of upcoming performances.

The Live Music Project amplifies community music resources by providing a platform for composers, performers, and performing arts organizations to promote and sustain their work, increase their visibility in the community, and tell the story of their craft.

Concerts, masterclasses, recitals, barn shows, instrument petting zoos; professional and community orchestras, choral groups, students, music festivals... find your music here!
