Barry Lieberman and Friends Master Class: Joe Kaufman, double bass

Joseph Kaufman, assistant principal bass of the Seattle Symphony, leads a free master class with students of Barry Lieberman.

Kaufman studied with David Yavornitzky at the University of Utah, and Jeff Bradetich at the University of North Texas. Kaufman has served as a member of the After graduating, Kaufman joined the New World Symphony; he has also served as Principal Bass of the Colorado Music Festival, the Verbier Chamber Orchestra, and as Assistant Principal of the Sun Valley Summer Symphony.
