The Jupiter String Quartet will give a virtual concert presented by the Asheville Chamber Music Series in North Carolina, recorded from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana.

This concert will be available to ticket holders on September 4 and 5 at 7:30pm ET (4:30pm Pacific) , and September 6 at 3pm ET (12pm Pacific), via a private YouTube broadcast. Originally scheduled to perform together in Asheville, the Jupiter will share the concert with celebrated pianist Michael Brown.

Tickets are free (or by donation); RSVP is required.

About Michael Stephen Brown

Praised for his "fearless performances," by The New York Times and "exceptionally beautiful" compositions by The Washington Post, pianist and composer Michael Stephen Brown is a frequent performer of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center series. Mr. Brown, whose artistry is shaped by his creative voice as a pianist and composer, will be featured in the Society 2023-24 season with a solo recital at Alice Tully Hall. A native New Yorker, he lives there with his two 19th-century Steinway Ds, Octavia and Daria.
