Francesco Maria Veracini — Selected works
Johann Georg Pisendel — Selected works

Tekla Cunningham, baroque violin
Caroline Nicolas, baroque cello
Henry Lebedinsky, harpsichord

In the early 18th Century, the Dresden court orchestra was considered the best in Europe, in no small part due to the leadership of Johann Georg Pisendel and Francesco Maria Veracini, rival violinists whose extravagant virtuosity was outdone by their colorful and larger-than-life personalities. Experience the fireworks – both on stage and behind-the-scenes – as we bring this extraordinary story to life in this extraordinary program featuring baroque violinist Tekla Cunningham, baroque cellist Caroline Nicolas, and harpsichordist Henry Lebedinsky.

The concert is blended with a tasting of five extraordinary dessert wine and chocolate pairings chosen by PMW co-Artistic Director (and wine connoisseur) Henry Lebedinsky especially for Valentine’s Day.

Admission is just $35 for the music, wine, and chocolate!
