Mark Hilliard Wilson, guitar

The instrument is the guitar and the theme is "renewal" – from songs from the 1200s, to simple studies for the guitar from the 19th century, to little gems of the 20th century. Music by Francesco Corbeatta, Mauro Giuliani, Paul Simon, J.S. Bach, and Mark Hilliard Wilson.

In lieu of the scheduled April Taizé ecumenical prayer service, Cathedral Guitarist Mark Hilliard Wilson will offer a short concert of musical prayer on the theme of "Renewal," which will be livestreamed from St. James Cathedral in Seattle, WA. Mark, who plays a prelude and postlude for each month’s first Friday Taizé service, wanted to offer his music to help bring us together spiritually as a congregation during this difficult time when we must be apart physically.

The livestream will take place at 6:30pm Pacific  / 9:30pm Eastern.
