Randall Thompson – Frostiana

Music about finding your way back, whether it's the way back home, or the way to a deeper sense of contentment that can follow a journey’s end. We feature diverse selections about the journey home, including the early American folksong “Wayfaring Stranger,” a new composition – "Take Me Home" – by Mitchell Fund, and highlights from The Wizard of Oz. We also feature a complete performance of Randall Thompson's Frostiana, a seven-part choral classic based on the homespun poetry of American poet Robert Frost.

We are happy to be performing at Seattle First Baptist Church for the first time. We are providing free parking in the adjoining lot for both concerts. If this lot fills to capacity, there is parking on the streets (for a charge on Saturday) and in nearby paid lots.
We hope to see you there. Please spread the word to your family and friends.

This is a free event, but your contributions are always gratefully accepted.
