Music At 9th and Stewart presents Mark Brombaugh playing the first recital on the 29 stop, two-manual Fritts Opus 6 organ following recent tonal updates to the instrument and architectural and acoustic revisions to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church sanctuary. The program will include music from the Lublin tablature, plus works by Bruhns, Scheidemann, Bach, Mendelssohn, Hindemith, and Diemer.
Music At 9th and Stewart is a new concert series in downtown Seattle. A portion of all ticket revenue supports nonprofit relief of immigrants, as well as families experiencing food- and housing-insecurity.
Nonprofit beneficiaries are Northwest Immigrant Rights Project, The Hope Center, The Church Council of Greater Seattle, and Mary's Place.
