Tamara Friedman, fortepiano
Seattle’s mistress of the fortepiano, Tamara Friedman, ranges of the gamut of the rich repertoire for early pianos, from Giustini, Scarlatti, Haydn, Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, and Chopin – and even a bit of Bartók! The other star of the concert will be Tamara's fine replica of an 1814 Johann Peter Fritz grand fortepiano (Christopher Clarke, France).
“Exemplary musicianship and true flair!” (Seattle Post-Intelligencer)
Tickets: $30 ($25 seniors, $15 young adults/students, children FREE – ages 7-16, one-on-one with ticket holding adult)
