Aaron Westman, baroque violin
Anna Marsh, baroque bassoon
Henry Lebedinsky, organ

At the turn of the 17th century, a new style of music began to push the boundaries of instrumental writing, demanding more from both musicians and their instruments. A significant amount of this new music was based on improvisation on popular songs of the time, much like American classic Jazz. Aaron Westman and Anna Marsh join Henry Lebedinsky for a fun, illuminating, and breathtaking exploration of this repertoire, including music from Italy, England, Germany, and Poland.
