"Frauenliebe und Leben: Variations":
Robert Schumann's Frauenliebe und Leben with related works by Edvard Grieg, Richard Strauss, Gustav Mahler, Claude Debussy, Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, and others.

Susan Graham, “America’s favorite mezzo” (Gramophone), returns to PCMS, applying her lustrous voice and exquisite tones to Schumann’s Frauenliebe und Leben ("A Woman’s Love and Life"), a beloved eight-song cycle sung from a woman’s perspective. Graham and pianist Bradley Moore have designed a program that supplements Schumann’s work with songs of similar content from various composers around the world, with eight languages represented overall.

The livestream will take place at 6pm Eastern / 3pm Pacific. The video will remain available for 72 hours after each performance, subject to the approval of the artists.
