Every Veterans Day for the past 27 years, the Port Townsend Summer Band has volunteered to play at the Veterans Day ceremony at the American Legion Hall in Port Townsend as part of their annual recognition of those who serve our country as members of all branches of the armed services.

The band begins playing at 10:30am. The official ceremony begins at 11:00am and runs about 1.5 hours with the band playing during the ceremony as well. We will be playing patriotic pieces, marches, and Quilts of Valor composed by Karl Bach, PT Summer Band's conductor emeritus.

The band's new conductor, Marge Rosen, will be making her debut with the band. This concert is free and open to all. We suggest arriving early as it is usually standing room only by performance time.
