The Houston-based professional ensemble ROCO begins its Season 16 Unchambered series, featuring ROCO musicians in self-curated, livestreamed chamber programs - with nature-inspired works of beauty, respite, and reflection, featuring flutist Rebecca Powell Garfield, oboist Spring Hill, and harpist Laurie Meister.

Works will include Hovhaness’s The Garden of Adonis and Delibes’s iconic "Flower Duet" from his opera Lakmé, as well as music by contemporary composers, such as Karim Al-Zand, broadcast from the galleries of Nancy Littlejohn Fine Art without an in-person audience.

The livestream will take place at 5pm Central / 3pm Pacific. Broadcasting live from Houston, TX.

ROCOrooters (ROCO’s music education program for children) has gone virtual – and is available online in conjunction with all of ROCO’s In Concert and Unchambered performances during the 2020-2021 season. “ROCOrooters in the Cloud” includes free, downloadable materials so the whole family can enjoy the concerts together, and a free, interactive, online follow-up lesson is presented each following Saturday. Visit https://roco.org/rocorooters/ for more info and pre-registration, and join us Saturday, October 24th at 10am Central / 8am Pacific!
