Composer, commentator, and newest Artistic Partner of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra Rob Kapilow joins us to reveal the inner workings of two beloved Ludwig van Beethoven compositions. The broadcast will begin with a performance of the Coriolan Overture, exemplary of The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra’s conductorless model, and end with Jeremy Denk’s outstanding 2017 performance of Piano Concerto No. 4 will close out the evening, both accompanied by insightful discussion by Kapilow.
