The Sammamish Symphony Orchestra, along with Cantaré Vocal Ensemble and The Liberty Singers, presents an afternoon choral spectacular featuring the premiere of Requiem in D minor by Alois Storch, newly transcribed by conductor and music director Adam Stern, and the beautiful Requiem in D minor, Op. 48 by Gabriel Fauré. Also on the program is violist Aloysia Friedmann, founder and artistic director of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival, for a performance of Handel’s Viola Concerto in B minor, edited by Henri Casadesus.
