Our second virtual spring concert is a collection of exciting, soulful encores written for violin and cello. Selections are either individually partnered with the piano or performed as a full piano trio.
Enjoy the humor of Kreisler’s Tambourin Chinois, which captures the bustle of San Francisco’s Chinatown, and the elegant and overwhelming beauty of Saint-Saëns’s "The Swan".
To close the collection of short pieces, the three artists perform a movement of Schoenfield’s Cafe Music – evoking the sounds of smoky, sultry jazz night clubs.
The broadcast will take place at 5pm Pacific.
