Pulitzer Prize winner John Luther Adams’ evocative music brings us back to the source through nature, oneness, and connection in this evening of peace and community healing. Join us for the world premiere of Adams’ newest string quartet Noctilucent, commissioned by Third Angle.
This concert is filmed at Congregation Beth Israel’s synagogue, considered to be one of the finest examples of Byzantine Revival architecture and a place of fellowship and friendship. The evening will also feature full soundscaping of the titular piece The Place We Began and a solo performance by renowned violinist Yura Lee.
