A story of rural charm matched by the beautiful music of Mascagni with a pastoral score, light of touch and colorful of harmony. A landowner, Fritz, bets Rabbi David that he will never give up the bachelor life. In the end, he is happy to be proved wrong and marries the lovely Suzel. This charming, light-hearted story features the gorgeous "Cherry Duet." Performed with piano and violin. Sung in Italian with English supertitles.
