Novus Project Plays Sibelius

The Novus Project is a consortium of musicians comprised of members of the Seattle Symphony, members of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestras, and other talented local musicians.

In this concert, the group will focus on works by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, in commemoration of the 150th anniversary of his birth. The program will include songs for soprano, sonatina and other pieces for violin and piano, and string quartet.

Performers include: Marie Birve (soprano); David Barela and Jessica Choe (piano); Michael Jinsoo Lim and Artur Girsky (violin); Sue Jane Bryant (viola); and Eric Han (cello).
