Violinist Maria Sampen enjoys a vibrant career as an in demand soloist, chamber musician, recording artist and teacher, performing across the U.S., Asia and Europe and with the Puget Sound Piano Trio.

Tim Christie plays violin and viola and is the artistic director and founder of the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival and is a member of the Pacific Northwest Ballet Orchestra and is active as a chamber musician, recording artist and teacher. Both Maria and Tim perform with Brave New Works and with IRIS Orchestra.

Admission: $20 member, $22 senior, $24 general, $5 student.

About Maria Sampen

Maria Sampen is the University of Puget Sound School of Music's professor of violin and chair of the string department. With extensive experience as a soloist and chamber performer, Sampen teaches a talented studio of Puget Sound students. Her students are frequent winners of various competitions at the local and regional levels.
