Bethany Man, harp

Bethany Man has been playing music for as long as she can remember. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN and has maintained an extensive musical career. Bethany has performed internationally, including performances at Carnegie Hall, the Basilica at Notre Dame, and was also the resident harpist on Cunard’s famed legend, The Queen Elizabeth 2, for several years.

A Kirkland native, Bethany can be found playing with many area symphonies, chamber and/or choir ensembles, and in solo performances. She is currently the principal harpist of the Lake Washington Symphony Orchestra (formerly Bellevue Philharmonic) and the Sammamish Symphony.

About First Friday Salon
Local violinist and conductor, Julia Tai has curated a series of concerts we call First Friday Salons. Inspired a 19th Century tradition of informal and intimate performances at home. With the exception of January 8, 2016, these events will occur on the first Friday of each month. No stuffed-shirt event, audiences are encouraged to wear comfortable attire, bring their friends, and engage in a highly social and interactive musical experience.
