Seattle Cello eXperiment, aka "Cello X," was founded in 2010 by local cellist Peter Williams. A prodigiously talented and skilled youth ensemble, its members are classically trained. A crossover ensemble that is as comfortable and adept at performing Bach as it is performing Alice in Chains and Metallica, Cello X specializes in original and unique arrangements of today's most popular music. Their mission is to explore the sonic possibilities and push the musical boundaries of cello playing.
Doors open at 7:00, show at 7:30. Tickets available at the door for $5.
