Versatile Icelandic musicians Lára Hrönn Pétursdóttir and Skúli Gestsson (of the internationally renowned band Dikta) will open the 22nd season. Through their music, they will share a fascinating story crossing the Icelandic countryside, into the supernatural, and ending out on the frigid sea. The program will highlight their many musical talents – singing, accordion, and guitar – while exploring classical to folk music, including traditional rímur.
