The Eastside Symphony presents pianist Anastasiya Timofeeva in a performance of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1. Also on the program: Movements II and III of Mahler's 1st Symphony and Handel's Passacaglia for Strings.

Anastasiya Timofeeva has been described as a pianist with a "beautiful singing tone" (Redlands Daily Facts) and "power and strong technique" (Palm Beach Arts Paper). She started her musical studies in Russia at the age of four. In May 2015, she had her New York City performance debut at the Kosciuszko Foundation after winning the Lyric Chamber Music Competition.

Ms. Timofeeva has performed in Europe, Russia, Mexico, the Philippines, and many states in America, as she is an active solo and collaborative pianist, piano teacher, and winner of many local and international competitions. She recently moved to Seattle to start a new musical chapter of her life.
