Heinrich Ignaz Franz Biber — Selected works
Niccolò Paganini — Selected works
Eugène Ysaÿe — Selected works
Johann Sebastian Bach — Selected works

Baroque violinist Edwin Huizinga performs some of the most dramatic pieces ever composed for violin for the Bellingham Music Club. The program includes works by Bach, Biber, Ysaye and Paganini.

From the Chapelle Royale in Versailles to the Carmel Bach Festival, Huizinga captivates audiences with his solo performances as well as his collaborations with classical and contemporary ensembles. He has played with most of the well-known Baroque ensembles, and was a co-founder of ACRONYM, the young Baroque string band dedicated to "giving modern premieres of the wild instrumental music of the seventeenth century." His technique can take him anywhere and his vocabulary of interpretation brings depth and freshness to music you may have heard before, but never like this.
Huizinga's recital is free and open to the public.
