This delightfully entertaining program is the result of a collaboration between Hardingfela player Rachel Nesvig and Scottish fiddler Brandon Vance. Maritime trade routes have historically stimulated cultural cross-pollination; Crossing the North Sea explores the repertoire of distinct fiddle styles that developed along the routes between Norway, Shetland, and points beyond.
